Addendum to the Public Notice: Update to Methodology — Version 3.1 (Addition of sections “Barrier Analysis” and “Sustainable Development Co-benefits”)
Agviser AD informs all interested parties that within the current public consultation on version 3 of our methodology, following the recommendation of the Balkan Carbon Credit Registry (BCCR), two new sections have been introduced: “Barrier Analysis” and “Sustainable Development Co-benefits”. This addition aims to better reflect potential financial and technical challenges and the completeness of the methodological requirements.
The change is classified as significant but not fundamental, and the methodology is updated to version 3.1.
This type of edit does not constitute a fundamental change to the principles or core requirements and does not require restarting the entire process or a completely new public consultation. Instead, the revised version (v3.1) is provided for a second round of comments, limited to the edited parts according to our standard public consultation procedure.
Details of the change:
Added new section: 2.2 Barrier Analysis, integrated following recommendations from the Registry/Technical Committee.
Added new section: 8.1 Sustainable Development Co-benefits, integrated following recommendations from the Registry/Technical Committee.
All interested parties may provide opinions/comments during the ongoing consultation.
If no fundamental objections or need for new consultation arise, final approval and public release of version 3.1 will occur after the comment period ends.
Important: Such changes are permissible as a minor document version update (e.g., v3.1) according to the company policy—when additions/corrections do not alter the essence but only clarify or further develop the analyses, barriers, and risks.
All edits are clearly documented and reflected and will be available upon request.
Thank you all for your active participation and feedback. Your engagement contributes to the quality and transparency of Agviser’s processes.
